I prefer buying thru GOG, but I see Rise of Traid 2013 version is on sale on Steam right now.

Q:
Is it possible to run the (Single-player Campain) STEAM version of RIse Of Triad 2013... WITHOUT STEAM once downloaded/installed ?

(Note: I'm not talking about running in off-line mode, I'm talking about maybe moving the game directory after it's installed / running it without STEAM totally.)

PS: I posted the above on Steam forums and the developer responded that some "parts" of the game might might work.

The GOG version doesn't have any of that so it's completely standalone.

I never try it myself but other people report you could run it without the Steam client.
