Ello peoples,
I have been running winrott on windows 7 64bit through compatibility mode (xp sp3) and it runs perfectly, full mouse support and no issues in single player. When I try to run multiplayer through netplay the mouse doesn't work at all. As soon as the game begins, the mouse just doesnt respond. I have tried this on two different computers with totally different mice (wired and wireless) and the same thing happens. When I host or join a game the mouse is selected in options and it doesn't make a difference if I toggle mouselook on or off as well. I remember this happening back when I tried winrott on xp and I have no idea what to do. It seems to be something with netplay settings, but winrott is a self contained executable with no external configuration so I am stuck. As soon as I go back to single player it works perfectly...
Did you try the latest version of glrott? Winrott is no longer supported.
Ok, that fixed it. Thank you sir. I still have to run it in compatibility mode so netplay works correctly but now the mouse actually works too!
