I have seen many videos/screenshots of ROTT,and my game has a lower resolution,lower texture quality,but I can't change them.

Were the screenshots from native DOS RoTT or were they from the Windows port, WinRoTT/GLRoTT? I know the port supports much higher resolutions.

I believe it was taken from the original game,it didn't look as good as the source port.

Press F5 in-game to adjust level detail to low, medium and high, also be sure you turn off auto-adjust detail level in user menu. Following screens are all on High.

I've noticed the same thing myself

and F5 doesn't really do much.
