when will the patch be released i was under the impression it would be released a few days ago maybe i should try the steam version since no gog version not sure

problem solved for now with version 2.0.1.4 from gog the update was in my game folder for rise of the triad on some servers the game now freezes and i have to alt tab and forcibly close the game lol

also the update button is now gone with this update

even the pirated version got the update...its really ridiculous...

well, i've rather got the impression, that we (who have bought rott on gog.com) are second or third class customers.
in addition to late patch, interceptor show up on steam forum preferentially. their appearance here is extremely rare.

It appears that you can patch the legitimate version bought from gog with that patch. Rise of the triad update fts. Sad.

Fred has said that they submitted the patch to the 3rd party that is supposed to submit it to gog.
He said that the 3rd party is the one delaying it for us.
I have no idea why it would be delayed for gog, but it is.

First they release the game in a state not even being fluid on Totalbiscuits PC (he has 2 FUCKING TITANS and of course, did NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME), then they have hired a 3rd party for creating GOG patches which pulls it off to delay a patch needed for connecting to MULTIPLAYER SERVERS in a MULTIPLAYER GAME for a whole week after RELEASE DAY.
If that's not putting a crimp in earning money, I don't know what does.

Yes, but how do i download it. The "Update" button from the launcher does not work. Sometimes i wish my ROTT key could be used in steam.

nvm. found the file to download. But why is there an update button if it cannot be used.

Just had a look at the multiplayer master browser list, because I can now with the patch fix.
15 servers, 14 empty and one had 2 players on. I don't know the ping because that's not shown, but it had a high "distance". I joined and I saw ingame graphics, but game froze.
The single player is great but I wish somebody had warned me about the state of the multiplayer functionality (currently, dedis are unmanageable without logging and you can't do mods like instagib etc.).
