This game's page lists that it has a single player campaign and a "multiplayer experience" but does that experience include coop play through the single player campaign?

I have the game and have not seen that option, sorry,

I believe the developers said it's something they would like to add sometime after release. They've said that about several other features too, we'll just have to wait and see.

I can't remember if the original had coop, I don't think it did..

and I always thought that was weird considering the story (whatever little there is) is about 5 people on the island so it really lends itself for coop.
However I don't know if the level design will... especially not the more platformy parts...


In General I always prefer campaign coop, but for this game, I think I'd be happy with a horde mode.

I'm pretty desperate for coop games-my playgroup has done L4D, Borderlands and Project Eden to death-so if they add this to the game then we'll be on it like white on rice.

So, just to check back in, has coop mode finally been added to this game? If it has, I'll insta-buy it.
