xone838: This game will not start. It seems to be trying to open up multiplayer upon starting. I tried to disable it using ipxconfig.exe and also tried to run it using Windows XP on a virtual machine. There are no online support articles that address this problem but this was also reported on these same forums a few years ago with no apparent response from the GOG admins. I am running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit. I would appreciate any feedback anyone could offer thanks.

Brightside.546: I just figured out the issue, Open the start menu and search for "OptionalFeatures" or "Turn Windows Features on or off". Then you want to expand Legacy Components and tick Direct Play. It will do a quick install and now the game should launch.
