I played this game when I was younger obviously with cheats but I wanted to play with legit this time around. Took me awhile to remember and find the name. I bought it but it doesn't run at first it was fatal error googled it got it fixed now my mouse cursor doesn't show up at all. I know everyone doesn't run same specs or same windows version. A classic game or any game should be tested before you try to make money off of it. I want to enjoy this game. How do I make my mouse cursor appear without any 3rd party addons.

Hey there, had a lengthy discussion with the support a couple weeks ago about getting this game to run, so maybe I can help out. The game is a bit... tricky to be honest, but let's try!

Navigate to the game's directory and use the launcher. From there you can access "advanced options". Either tag "force software rendering" or try the other options. For me "disable fast surface locks" gives me back the cursor, though I also have some problems with text not appearing in hardware rendering mode, so I also have to tag either "disable texture blitting" or "disable texture overlays". Unfortunately, your minimap might not work this way. If that's the case, you'll have to choose between no minimap (and nicer graphics) or less fancy graphics with the added benefit of better orientation via minimap.
By the way, you don't need "preload sectors" at all, so I recommend disabling it. On a modern machine it'll only serve to cause some loading lag.

Glad to be of help. I forgot something though: you probably have no music outside of cutscenes. The support staff knows of the issue, but there's no ETA for a fix.
