Hey everyone,

Got the latest version of Retro City Rampage up on the servers. This is version 1.11a and with it come the follwing changes:

-added mod support
-added a "Retro+" graphics mode.

Windows 8 64-bit users, does the game immediately crash for you too when entering the open world? It works fine on 7, though.

JetGumRadio: This happened to me on the Humble Bundle version, let me try the latest GOG version and I will report back.

UPDATE :

I installed the first GOG version with the Retro+ and it crashed directly after I started the game on any mode.

I then downloaded and installed the latest build from GOG and it seems to be running fine now, I started the game up with Retro+ and it did not crash in the 12 minutes I played on free mode.
Humble Bundle? When did that happen?

Probably means the Humble Store version.

JetGumRadio: Yeah, I meant the Humble Store version. I did some more testing and that original build that introduced retro plus doesn't work with Windows 8 at all even in compatibility mode.
The new update makes the game work perfectly now, so it all worked out.
