A hotfix for what exactly?

For the "auto aim / can't open doors" bug...There's another bug that makes the character suddenly start spinning around, and a some people are complaining about issues on displaying FMVs

Original mode doesn't have auto aim, only in the Japanese version, but Arrange mode has auto aim. I can't comment on the other problems cause I never had them.

Do you have an ultra wide monitor? What are your specs and OS?

Nothing like that. I have Windows 10, and a pretty weak rig. This is a simple codec issue they can solve in 5 minutes.

japanese (GOG) version has auto aim. go to settings in GOG launcher for Re2 and click japanese language and it will DL and install.

I play Arrange Mode on Normal difficulty, and Arrange Mode has auto aim. Isn't the Japanese Original Mode exactly the same like the English Arrange Mode? I don't think it's worth it to put it in Japanese if you have auto aim in English Arrange Mode.
