few months after game released i've been unable to launch resident evil 1. i click the button and doesnt open. sadly the resident evil 1 only opens if it's the japanese version. any solutions?

Great to see that it's been over a month and here I am having the same issue. Not fixed, and not even a reply from anyone at GOG. Good thing I saw this before I wasted my time making a new post about this.
