I read that the Director's Cut version of Resident Evil 1 has an "arrange mode" that changes the locations of enemies and items for a new experience, but I can't find it in the game. I found a forum post that implies that it's only in the Japanese version, but even after swapping versions, I still can't find it.

The Director's Cut was for the PSX only, so this version does not have the Arrange mode option.

Oh, bummer. I'm not sure why I thought this was the Director's Cut version. Thanks for the answer.
