Just asking because you know... FMV's... and the background fidelity in RE3 is way superior to the US/EU ports.

I played both the original and Sourcenext versions of RE 3 back in the days, and the FMV's are the only improvements in the Sourcenext version. The in game graphics are exactly the same.

Sphere Hunter got to play the second game and they've confirmed it's the original PC release and not the Sourcenext port, sadly. There have also been news articles written 'bout it.

I know about that, but she never said the Mediakite version was part of RE1 either and it was. I'm getting the feeling she selected English and she was done with no testing at all.

or maybe that's all she was given.

They are in RE2 at least I know that, But RE3 seemed really good looking on PC when I tried it, surely it wasn't that good?

Maybe it's just a better resolution i'm remembering then or I had a new monitor or something.

You are able to set the resolution in both versions the same way.
