I was so happy when I see Requiem being re-released on GoG and I insta-purchased it.

But when I try to run, it simply crashes with "Not Enough Memory" error. Tried both D3D and 3DFX(changed Glide Wrapper settings too) and that doesn't change anything. Is there a workaround/fix for it?

Here are my rig's specs:
OS : WIndows 7 Home Premium
CPU : Intel core i7 3.6Ghz
Memory : 12GB RAM
Video : Geforce 660GTX
HDD : 256GB SSD and two 2TB HDDs

This question / problem has been solved by teleguyimage
Make sure you didn't enable any compatibility modes or have any overlay software running.

Disabled anything I can think of, like Shadowplay, Steam, GoG launcher, etc.
Unchecked compatibility modes.

Still doesn't work. Playing around with Dxwnd doesn't do much, either.

There's another thing you can try.

Download this patch http://www.vogons.org/download/file.php?id=20801 , extract it somewhere and run install.bat with admin rights. (If you want to remove it again use uninstall.bat or the Windows controlpanel.)

Then delete or rename ddraw.dll from the game folder.

Try to launch 3DFX.exe. (D3D.exe won't work.)

If you get an APPCRASH either
a) delete or rename smackw32.dll located in Requiem - Avenging Angel\media\Movies, this will disable ingame movies
or
b) download this ddraw.dll https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases and extract it to the game folder

Done that and still "Not Enough Memory" error. It's not even an APPCRASH.

I tried reinstalling and doing each measures individually(using other D3D wrapper, updating nglide, etc), reboot windows then trying to start Requiem, but nope.

I think I'll have to wait until someone else gets this problem.
The other D3D wrapper you tried was that dgVoodoo?

Another thing you could test is limiting your system ram with msconfig.

Your page file is still enabled? Some games need it even if you have enough ram.

Page file is enabled, limiting ram through msconfig didn't do well.

Also I downloaded the 1.3 software version of Requiem exe, but even with that the game says "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY".

FYI here's the result of System info from "Sysinfo.exe" came from Requiem.

Messed around with several gdVoodoo settings and it finally started. Thank you!

Can you post the dgVoodoo settings you are using? Only it might help anyone else who comes upon the same issue.

I contacted support and they said to do a clean boot (instructions they gave me below) and that worked.

But that disables lots of services and applications so that you can check for conflicts. You'll probably need to turn some of them back on at least in order to get some of your other installed software working again. Would be better to be able to identify which software is causing the conflict.
I have the same issue. This needs to be patched. There is no reason we should have to go through such round about methods to try and fix this.
For anyone having this issue, I found an extremely strange solution that works on my pc. Start the game by hitting play from within GOG galaxy. I have no idea why, but when starting the game from the desktop shortcut, I have the memory issue. When starting from the play button in Galaxy, I have no issue. I hope this helps someone else too.
