I have some flickering ingame, mostly with sprites. I tried to change the API used, and the one which less flickers is the OpenGL one but it's damn slow :D
Anyway I'd like to bow to the gog team for having ported this awesome game which I understand better than when I was 9 haha :D

I was configuring the controls on the Redneck Rides Again's Redneck.cfg because it was the one that didn't have flickering. Once I was happy with my config I copied this CFG to the other two folders and now it works perfectly. (maybe a little darker)
So, you may want to compare both cfgs or simply copy them over.

Oh, indeed. I will compare them, it'll bring me back some memories :) Then when I'll have found the problem I'll signal it to the gog team. Thanks :D
Ahah, found it. The problem comes from the 1024*768 resolution which was not really supported. 800*600 doesn't flickers! I don't know if it flickers on every computer... but on both of you it doesn't. Bug reported!

I just downloaded the game, and I'm getting some flickering issues also. Nothing drastic, but if there's a fix, I'll go to it.
How do you configure the controls by using the .cfg file? I'm a total n00b when it comes to those kinds of computer things. However, it flickers on each one of the games. Anything specific I should try?

You don't have to! You can go through the setup in the start > programs > gog.com > Redneck Rampage You Want folder.
Of course if you want to configure your controls via the .cfg, it's not so hard. I was just up to post how you can do but nicktonic just did a good job!
Browsing the cfg files was one of my hobbies on Duke Nujem back then <3
thanks mate i had this issue too
