When I run Red baron 3D it is asking for the CD?

Strange, maybe GOG removed their version of the fixed exe for it was known to cause problems with the RB3D multiplayer servers that are running security.
However, one has not need a CD to play RB3D since the beginning for there has always been a work around. In the message window that requests a CD, there are four black crosses. The cross on the upper right, click it six times and the game will run.

yes i have heard of that but this message doen't have the four crosses, it's a "modern" message window so to speak
EDIT: odd, this morning,asking for a disc, this evening howerver it is not, wierd...

Oh, that message. Do get sometimes for RB3d and other games, but still never stopped me from playing the game. Has to do with XP and Vista, not the game itself.
