When i download gog manuals most of them dont work but there is a site that lists controls however when i play the game capslock for runnig (not sure if control for attacking works) dosnt work so i cant run I fear this is very bad is there a fix?

I haven't got the game installed right now so I can't check, but isn't there the "always run" option in the game menu? It's not as bad as you put it. :)

Cant find it also how do i sidestep?

Found out the button to to the right of of 1 ( on pc anyway `¬ the one that does those symbols) toggels run
