How do you save games in realms of the haunting...I must be missing something.

In the inventory there should be an options/save icon. Once you make a hard save, you can quicksave using the F9 key.

When you open your inventory (default key "I" -- capital "i", not lowercase "L") there should be a save icon under Adam's portrait, from which you can access the Load/Save/Options in-game menu.
