Thanks to the remake I started the old game again since used to be terrible at the game and have to say I love it now and i noticed that if you write down the locations it turned into a very fun game is it that some things are random because the walktrough said that some had the map peaces but when i got to them they say a merchant recently has bought it. Now I am looking for Tiomar Swafnildsson who suposed to be in manrek but i cant find that area on the map or did I made a terrible typo?

It is not random. The map pieces are always at the same people. Algrid Trondesdotter in Hjalsingor has sold her piece of the map to a travelling merchant in every game. Meeting him while travelling on land is a semi-random event. But unfortuanately due to a bug you will never meet him after having talked with Algrid Trondesdotter. Don't panic! You can complete the game with only 7 of the 9 pieces. But you should save before talking to Beorn Hjallasson in Angbodirtal and Ragna Firunjasdotter in Vidsand. They only give you their pieces of the map if you choose the right dialogue options. And they are not that obvious...

Tiomar Swafnildsson lives in Brendhil, which is located on the island of Manrek in the north-west of the map.

All names taken from the German version of the game. They might be different in the english one.
