I just recently bought Rayman Forever and after dealing with the first hurdle of files being mistaken for viruses I now have to deal with a problem of the controlls constantly acting as if they are pressing down. It makes the menu's impossible to navigate and needless to say, makes the game unplayable. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue?

That's probably the issue then. I'd disable controller support in DOSBox and use some other program, like Joy2Key, in order to map the buttons.
