I recently bought Rayman 2 on GoG and I got up to the Whale Bay and stopped playing. A few days later I come back and when I try to load the file it says Err gale can't be loaded. I made my way up to the Whale Bay again and stopped playing, I come on now and my entire memory is wiped!! My saves are gone my sound adjustments have changed and its really annoying because i'm trying to film a youtube series!!! Please help.

try putiing it in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3 i tested it and my saves didn't disappear

Running the game as an Administrator in Windows Vista fixed this problem for me.

I guess you installed to the default location. Since Microsoft introduced UAC to their Windows versions Programs cannot alter the contents of your %ProgramFiles% and %ProgramFiles(x86)% directory. Except if you grant the program administrative rights either through the context menu or via the compatibility register in the properties dialog.
This is a problem with most older Programs.
