I downloaded Rayman 2 but when I launch the game i am shown the 3dfx logo but then the screen flashes black and off and then shows the ubisoft logo but an error message saying Rayman2.exe has stopped working.

I have tried running in windows xp compatibility mode but it doesn't work,

has anyone got a fix for this?

I read somewhere you had to install it in a different directory in Windows 8 for it to work though I'm not sure why that'd help. I'd recommend you trying to run the game using DirectX instead of nGlide which you can change in the GXSetup.
