I just started playing QfG3 in ScummVM on Windows 10.

This game really yanks you around, unlike the previous games. I hope it eases up soon.

Anyway, my question is... Is there any way to get the dialog windows to stay on screen until I explicitly dismiss them? How do I even pause the game? I have a busy household and I can't play a game that moves on without me when I have immediate and higher priorities to tend to.

If you open the settings menu (second from the right on the dropdown menu, I believe), it pauses the game.

I think this also applies to stuff like opening the rest menu, your inventory, and stuff like that.
