As a command line parameter this is supposed to skip the logo videos, but doesn't seem to worrk.

No idea why that command line parameter doesn't work with this version of the game but at least you can skip the intros through hitting "Esc" a few times. Not sure at the moment if that was already possible on the old disc version because I haven't played that one for years and therefore I don't remember it.

Yes, triple Esc works, although it's a bit annoying.
But nonetheless, since +disconnect works perfectly well with the retail version (and with Doom 3), I thought I might ask.

I know this is old now,
but I just wanted to add, putting “disconnect” (without quotes) in the launch parameters of my Steam version works.
But putting “+disconnect” (without quotes) after the target for my GOG version doesn't.
With the Steam version, easy.
With the GOG version, couldn't make anything work.
