i'm guessing this is more of a windows glitch than a Q2 bug, but it only happens after i shut down Q2...
...it almost always shows me the last two files/folders that i worked with on my desktop before i deleted or moved them then started the game.
e.g. i save a picture to my desk, MyPic.bmp and download a zip MyZip.zip - i delete the picture and move the zip to my archive folder.
i run Q2, play and then shut it down.
on my desk now is an icon each for MyPic.bmp and MyZip.zip
they have a size of 0 and no creation or modification date in Properties
if i refresh the destop, they disappear.
it's easily rectified and mostly harmless (i think) but definitely the 2nd oddest bug i've had this week**
(**prize for 1st oddest bug goes to Logitech Gaming Software, which installs a bad launch shortcut that prevents Photoshop's layer properties menu from opening)
---> forgot to mention - i'm not using the launcher or running any 3rd party engines. just running the Quake2.exe directly from a shortcut.
