It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi!

I recently bought this game on the sale and when I try to download it my speeds hovers around 100 KB/s. This is on a 20 Mbit connection and I can download from other sources with a much higher speed.

I'm using the GOG Downloader and this way it will take a good 7 hours before I have the game :(

Do I have to open ports or do something like that?

Edit : It went down to 50 Kb/s now :( 14 hours to go.

I think download speeds from GOG may depend on where you are. I'm in the United States and I typically only get a few hundred kbps, although on rare occasions it will go up to a meg or two, which is my typical download speed from other places (I also have a 20Mbit connection). On other rare occasions it slows down all the way to 50kbps. One thing I noticed, though, is that I can download several files from GOG at once, and they will all go the same speed, so in total, I'm getting faster download speeds when I do that. So if you have a few games you want to download, you can try them all at once and it should still be roughly the same wait time. You can also download the extra content files at the same time as the game installer.

I've only been downloading with my browser though. I haven't tried the downloader in a while.
for me it would always say 0 kb/s

so i used opera to download it.

opera would stay at 70 to 100 kb/s and for some reason at about the half downloaded mark would suddenly jump to many thousands of kb/s and the download would immediately finish.
My download speeds from GOG have greatly improved in recent months. The new downloader was able to download The Witcher 2 at very high speeds and even browser downloads are much quicker.
