The game is worth playing, particularly if you're a jaded gamer who's tired of the endless clone of FPS games. Psychonauts is fun and lighthearted, with numerous unique features and gameplay styles. Even if you don't love it, you haven't played anything quite like it before. While the game is fun (assuming you're willing to let go and "buy into it"), I never had an overwhelming urge to rush off and play Psychonauts. For good or bad, if Pixar made a video game, they'd make Psychonauts.
