I <3 this game as well, excpet I'm not going to take it to a sleezy motel to show my love.
Anyway...the thing about this game is the story. It's bright, it's vibrant, it's simply wonderful. It starts off REALLY slow and gives you the WRONG feeling. This is probably what turns people off in the beginning. In the beginning it feels like a after school special about the "uniquely" gifted. A little later it evolves into the all out youthful adventure, with childish wonder, that we've all come to know and love in adventure games as a kid. Some parts of the game get very repeditiv e, but this is a game you should be able to overlook it's negative qualities to enjoy the character, the silly and slighly dark story, and oogle all of the in game goodies that you unlock along the way. Some, like the artwork, shows how much thought went into the game.
