If the original trilogy ever come to GOG as opposed to relying on my disk copy of POP 3D, then hypothetically would it be awesome if someone, likely fans or even GOG staff, could provide a mod for the GOG version of Prince of Persia 3D that basically fixes the game?

Basically by fixing all the glitches that POP 3D has, particularly the freezing moving platform bug and camera issues, removing the silly blue and red Resonance Cascade sprites from the first two games that Prince of Persia 3D considers to be gore and putting some actual POP 1 and 2 and Tomb Raider series style gore in their place. By Tomb Raider style gore, namely the first 6 games and the Survivor prequel series.

A new expansion pack to tie the events of 3D and the second game to Sands of Time, 3D remakes of the first two games as a side bonus on the fixed 3D engine ala the Sonic 1 in Generations style appearances of the Mac versions of 1 and 2 in the console versions of Sands of Time, and a New Game plus mode that gives you the Dagger of Time as a "Tomb Raider Pistols" option, and for helping to fix any cheap deaths in a vaguely humorous way ala all SOT games and Blinx the Time Sweeper where that mechanic originated.

I like parts of 3D as it's basically Kiddies First Tomb Raider IV, if I was the one doing the jumping at my current weight instead of Lara, even if the plot is ridicules and the whole game is in dire need of fixing.

So why not have GOG get all the old POP games on the GOG store and then fans or GOG staff can make this "Sonic 2006 PC Unity" style debugged version of Prince of Persia 3D. Maybe even get a Sands of Time style remake of it too later on like 1 and 2 got. We can't trust Ubisoft to do it though as they'd likely just fill it with Viewpoint Towers and Fee-2 Pay elements.
