Hello guys,

i have an issue here. I just bought Populus: The Beginning + it's Addon Undiscovered world because it was on the special EA-Games sale. I installed it, following the steps that the screen said. Now i wanna start the game, but it's not possible. i get an error massage telling me: "a 3d device with the required capabilities could not be found...." and so on. Can't choose between any graphic resolution option nor i find any setup possibility. The game starts in Software mode, but thats not what i want. Maybe you guys can help me out with that?

i have a Radeon HD 6800 Serien graphics card. I also tried to renmae this .dll file, but than the game crashed as i started it.

Make sure you download the newer atiumdag.dll found in this post:

Renaming the dll will do nothing except corrupt the game. All you have to do is either delete the existing atiumdag.dll in the Populous install folder or overwrite it with the one I linked above.
