Hello!

There is a possible solution for Populous: The Beginning.. When you have installed the game, play it as long as you want to/can/feel like. MAKE SURE TO SAVE PROGRESS. When you want to play it later and if you get the D3D error..

Just delete the game, keep the savegames, re-install it and play it again!


I think it can work, it's a way.

Have you tried running as administrator? Launches the game without having to reinstall.

That has been attempted, but it usually does not help. But there is hope it helps to some.
