Everything else seems to work fine but I can't get the split screen two player mode to work. When I click on the "split" button it doesn't stay illuminated and the continue (or whatever it is) button doesn't work. I remember having this problem with the original POD - the earliest version. But, it was fixed shortly thereafter and then worked fine.

Is there something I'm not doing?

My operating system is Windows 7. I have now installed POD Gold on three computers. Two with Windows 7 and one with Windows XP. On the W7 computers the split screen button doesn't work (mentioned above). But on the XP machine it does work. Unfortunately I need some kind of controller for the second player (first player uses keyboard). So, now I have an additional question...

Does POD Gold work with new controllers that I imagine are connected to computers via USB. I haven't played video games that require a controller on a PC in quite some time.

Yes it does on the USB thing. I tried my go pad on it and it worked!

Does anyone figured out something about that issue?
