It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hey guys, just downloaded and installed POD Gold from GOG and it works fine, but since I *really* want to run this at high resolution I tried to use a different nGlide wrapper. From what I've read in some of the other threads here, this should be possible with the help of PodHacks.
Now I've downloaded PodHacks 3.9a and put it into the POD directory and enabled "Fool POD that the Desktop color depth is 16-bit" and I enabled "Suppress resolution changes (grSstWinOpenError)" and I checked "PODX3Dfx.exe". However when I start POD, I still get the grSstWinOpenError.

Does anyone of you have a clue what might be amiss here?

Edit: Okay, apparently I only have DirectX9 and dgVoodo2 needs DirectX11. Tried it with dgVoodoo 1.50beta2 and it works like a charm :)

If you do not have DirectX 11, you might have a look at nGlide.
The recently released 1.04 includes some nice features and performance improvements.

Thanks for the hint, but I somehow got the understanding that you cannot go to as high a resolution with nGlide as you can with dgVoodoo. I think I'll try and see whether this is true or not, and which of the two wrappers works better for me.
