I'm running this on win8. After applying every recommended patches, this is the first game that work without any game breaking bugs on this os... almost.

Every now and then my game flashes whatever is under the game window for a second. This happens every 2 minutes or so.

Anyone had similar problems?

this is very common on win8 with ddraw 16-bit color games, as far as I can tell.

try the wined3d dlls from http://bitpatch.com/ie_ddrawfix.html
