I recently downloaded the Planescape game and.. have yet to play it. I downloaded the recommended mods and installed in the advised way. I've experienced a number of issues with it though. One of the problems that I have is the game is in a mode where it registers me pushing buttons. Like.. if I'm able to get around to the save game it lists the name as cwiddfaitisknsjlai before I can type anything in myself. It constantly brings up the inventory menu, the spell books, the options menu.. it all just constantly pops up and doesn't allow me the ability to play. I tried to change the ini keymap to remove all shortcuts but then it exacerbates the problem. Now when I try to start a new life, it will either not let me do anything at all, constantly ask if I want to go to the main screen, or it will let me allocate points but not start the game.

It's incredibly frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I should probably mention that it seems like the issue originates from the widescreen mod, I've tried to install it solo and it didn't work well. I'm running it at 1366x768

It looks like the game is receiving keyboard input all the time, hence the pop-ups and pre-filled savegame. I don't know where this issue origins, but I'd look into input devices, software that is involved in input devices and mods that affect controls.

Have you tried just rebooting your computer?
