Planescape Torment runs strangely on my Windows 10 laptop. Whenever anything happens in the background, like say I adjust the audio or my background switches (I have a slideshow background), it starts blinking between the game and my desktop. I have no idea what causes it since no other Infinity Engine game does that. I've tried running in compatibility mode for Windows XP but that didn't do anything.

Try the ddraw fix thingy posted about here: https://www.gog.com/forum/planescape_torment/small_white_rectangle_flickering
I haven't tried it myself, but it seems that it works.

Some combinations of DDrawFix and compatibility options have apparently worked well for other Windows 10 users.

If you can't get it to work, just wait for the Enhanced Edition to come out in a few days (already available for pre-order), which was made to work well on modern systems.
