I'm using the recommended fixes from the sticky on windows 8.1, and I'm seeing cursor trails all over the screen. Anyone have a fix for this?

Try applying the DDraw Fix again (run \Planescape Torment\setup-ddrawfix.exe).
Check all three modes offered.
