I'm seeing cursor trails (see attached image) after I upgraded to Windows 10 & changed resolution with widescreen mod. I tried reinstalling the widescreen & UI mod and ddrawfix, also tried nvidia_fix but nothing worked.

My system:
Windows 10 64-bit
Nvidia Geforce 970 (driver 365.10)
i5-2500k 3.30GHz
8Gt RAM

Reistalling the whole game seems to have solved it.
