redglyph: A hanger is something to hang your clothes on ;)
The delay is much probably on the author's side, so you'd better ask them, I doubt they spend much time in forums - they don't even have a website... Ask on their FB page perhaps, since that's apparently the only way of communication.
For my part, I'd rather wait a little more and be on GOG than on Steam.
Haven't bought it yet, from the multiple reviews, it seems very finicky with the temperamental controls, especially to get the mouse pointer to hit what you want it to select. I'll just sit this one out until I see some improvement and variety.
Thanks for the enlightenment as to one of the many definitions of "hanger"...
I had a Facebook account for a grand total of 2 weeks 5 or 6 years ago after which I wisely ran as fast and as far away from it as possible thus I can't contact the devs through that avenue. I did manage to track down a website for Cobble Games (the new developer) and sent a message asking them to update the GOG version in addition to the STEAM version of the game. No reply as yet.
I completely understand purchasing from GOG, as opposed to STEAM, but I am starting to wonder if STEAM might not be the wiser choice if that's the only place you can get the completed game. How long are you willing to wait for a GOG version that may never show up?
Yep, the controls/UI are finicky in the original version but I did manage to persevere and finished all 3 aircraft in both standard and hard modes. Hopefully the finickyness is addressed in the latest UI update (6/30) and since that is the 3rd update this year (1st in Feb, 2nd in May and 3rd in June) it would indicate a comittment by Cobble Games to keep developing... I hope, I hope, I hope.
