I like this game very much....but...

I think i am nearing the end of the game, and i have hoarded quite a bit of gold but have so far found very few shops with worthwhile items. Have i missed something?

Was i supposed to have used a lot of consumables? Haven't really used scrolls and potions, so that could explain the abundance of gold.
I'm just in ACT II and I have like 40,000 so I feel you.
Maybe create a level 12 adventurer wizard and steal his spells ?
Or enchant your weapons they cost gold too ...
I was wondering this, seems a strange feature - so much Gold and so little to buy....

Compared to the witcher where you would spend most of it on blacksmithing wepons or books that you would spend days reading... lol
I just spent quite a bit of money (10-15k) on gems for crafting. Enchanting found items is generally more worthwhile than buying items.

Have not done a lot of enchanting.....playing on the normal difficulty setting, might do it on my second playthrough where i ramp the difficulty up! :)

When I got to Defiance Bay I had over 60,000 pand, but needed enchanting supplies badly. I found Lora's supplies, and suddenly found myself divested of 50,000 of those hard-earned coins... :) Oh, and she re-stocks!
