The tool tip for the weapon damage and the description for the weapon damage are inconsistent.

For instance, on the crossbow, it says 21-31 damage on the tooltip. If you open the description by clicking right, it says 20-28 damage.

Which one do I believe?

I'm asking because, according to wiki, neither of the numbers you wrote would actually be correct.

Edit: All right, I have loaded up my old saved game and found a basic crossbow with no enhancements. Tooltip claims 21-31 and the description claims the same damage radius. Doesn't the Infinity Engine mod do changes to equipment?

Hmm, IE mod does not list that on its Nexus page, far as I can see, but I am running IE mod so I guess that's the cause.
