Do we think the GoG will release an upgrade option for PoE?

I am a broke IT worker and could only get the Hero Edition at this time, but at some point I would like to upgrade to the Champion or Royal edition. I feel it is a good way to back the creation of this game and get a few novelty extras that I will enjoy looking at.

Yes. They have stated on the release page that they are working on upgrades.
