I am running Windows 10 with a Nvidia Geforce GTS 240 graphics card. Every time I start the game It goes a few minutes and then loses the video signal. I can still hear the sound in the background. I am forced to do a hard reboot of my computer. I have updated my video drivers to the latest edition and I do not have this problem with any other program. Any suggestions?

Try running Furmark and see what happens. PoE is pretty taxing so it may stress the card too much.

I cleaned my graphics card for dust and ran Furmark and another graphics card test program. My card passed both tests. It gets hot (105C) but does not fail. I do not think it is a problem with my GPU overheating. Other similar games run on my computer with no problem and most often the crashes occur during the character generation screen which is not graphics intensive.
