downloaded the patch, tried to install, just crashes before it begins the updating process. redownloaded, same thing.

?

Haven't encountered that problem actually. Maybe try running the executable as an administrator?

You may need to download the complete installer if at all feasible.

I had this issue, I had to restart the machine, delete the games and files, re-download the game and patch via GoG downloader and then install the Game and Patch.

Worked fine second time, not sure why it went so wrong first time.

Hope it works for you!

If you have saved files, move them to another folder when you delete to keep your data :)

only it took me like 10 hours to download the game... I would never have bought a digital only game if it hadn't been so hyped and likely to be fantastic
