I have been trying to install this game via Galaxy all day, and every time I click on the blue "Install" button, it brings up a notification saying "server error" in the top-right corner of the screen. No other games do this. I click install, and it brings up the prompt to select the install path, whether I want a desktop shortcut, etc. Deadfire will not do that. Anyone had a similar problem, with this game or with another Galaxy install? Any idea how to solve or work around it?

Thanks.
Same here. i get "server problem" in the top-right corner instantly when i click install, but i can install every other game in my library without problem.

have you find a solution?
After uninstalling gog galaxy, deleting all the remaining files of galaxy and previous saves of the game, and reinstallig a couple of times it seems to be working now.
Christ, you'd think there would be a less drastic solution. This is a new computer, so I don't have any saves of Deadfire on here. Hopefully I don't need to delete my save files from other games (Witcher 3, etc).

Glad you got it working, anyway. I'll try it.

I didn't delete the other games i had instaled, i left the gog galaxy folder just with the rest of the games installed and deleted everything else.
You can add the games again after you reinstall galaxy.
