Hi Everybody.

When I try to change Pharaoh screen resolution the game crashes. I have the same issue when I try to switch to windowed mode.

My configuration :
Core i5-2520M Processor
6 Gb RAM
Radeon 6630M + HD 3000 Intel
Windows 8
2 Screens : 13 inches 1600x900 + 23 inches FHD

Did anyone have the same problem ?

Pharaoh probably doesn't support Windows 8. It's a REALLY old game, I'm surprised it works on Windows 7.

It actually does work on win8/8.1.
And you can even play it in widescreen mod without any problems.

1. Install this patch from here (edit: apparently I can't post any link): Just google: wsgf Cleopatra Queen of the Nile
Works both on Pharaoh and Cleopatra
Just pick your resolution and replace pharaoh.exe.
Resolution 1024x768 in game = your wanted widescreen resolution.

2. Right click on pharaoh.exe - Properties - Compatibillity - Set to Windows XP (SP2).

And that's it, works like a charm.
