I just installed this on my Win7 machine, and the game runs at an insanely high speed, to the point where I can't see people moving around or react to events as they happen. Is there a way to slow the game down to "normal" speed?

The default speed settings for game and mouse are set to 100%. You can tone it down through the "Options" menu and then clicking Speed settings. The [ and ] buttons will change game speed ([ lowers it, ] increases it) in 10% increments. I recommend a mouse speed of 70% as it's not too slow, nor too fast. :)

Hello!
I am very new to gog.com. I know the problem has been solved but I can't figure out where and what are these "options" you talk about, I don't find them in the game menu or in my library on gog, where can I find them? My game is like on super high speed too, not playable at all :c

The options are found in the game when you are playing a mission or custom map. When in a mission or custom map, you will find the options button I mentioned and you will be able to use the two buttons I mentioned as well.
