So I have two PC's:
#1. Win7 system dedicated for gaming exclusively (GOG, original CD/DVD-ROM's & Emulation.)
#2. Cheap old ThinkPad running Linux as my daily driver, for everything else that anyone would use a PC for.

With that being explained, from my first hand experience with all the UE4 games that I own run just fine on Win7. Albeit either with a minor workaround, like adding/renaming a missing dependency or deleting a non-essential incompatible one. @Jarekthegamingdragon on YouTube said this was a UE4 game, right?

I just want to know before I make the choice to buy it.

I don't have a Win7 system so I can't really help you there but you can try it and return it if it doesn't work :)

Actually the homepage doesn't list Windows 7 as being supported, so I doubt that that's a valid refund reason.


Tbh, I doubt it, unless DX12 games in general run on the OP's system.

Unfortunatly, I can't link you to anything I guess.
But there's a windows 7 fix out there.

I'm going to upload that somewhere if it can help anyone.

Just unzip and drag the PERISH folder in your perish installation folder and replace the perish folder ; it's just some directx dll files.

Just to be clear.
The game only required a 64bits system, only windows 10 tho officialy.
You can launch the game through dx11 with -dx11 either with a shortcut or in additional argument in your game properties (any game launcher, gog or steam, does).
The fix is only for runing on Windows 7, just thanks fitgirls ;)

Since GOG can't check if one really played a game or not, the base refund option is gone once it's downloaded, since it would be playable offline. You could refund it and still play it. After that it's basically goodwill but usually they are very forthcoming.

I only refunded when I was not aware that there was a different edition of the same game that would suit me better. They did so without hesitating.

But what if I buy and download the game and it just doesn't work on my machine? Or it has major technical flaws?

Technical flaws are a valid reason. If your machine meets the requirements and it does not run, that's also a valid reason.

It's just the automatic refund without explanation that expires once you downloaded the game.
