How did you set your DxWnd profile up? I'm having issues trying to run it in a window.
EDIT: for the people from the future, upon trying with DxWnd you'll see the mouse leaving odd trails and other visual artifacts. Attached is an image that shows the setting that needs to be changed tot he value shown to avoid this ("Clipper" needs to be set to "OFF" under the DirectX(2) tab).
