I just posted a review of Patrician III at my site LongTailGamer.com. It's the first game I've reviewed that can be bought on GOG, so there's lots of GOG-lovin' going on there. I plan to deliver a whole lot more in future reviews.

Wow, thanks for the video! I knew this game already, and love it, but I enjoyed watching it anyway :-). Also, I hope many new players are/will be encouraged by this video review.
A question: what app did you use to record the game? If I'm not mistaken, FRAPS only handles 3D games. I've used many an alternative, with numerous codecs and trying various settings, yet there always were some delay between the video and the sound.

The singing in the start sort of scared me a bit, but it's actually a very nice and well done review.

I did indeed use FRAPS. I think FRAPS will record anything done with Direct3D or DirectDraw. So even though Patrician isn't 3D, it does seem to use the DirectX system, so FRAPS catches it.
No delay between sound and video. I don't know if that's anything in particular about my system, but I have FRAPS set up to record 15 fps, no benchmarking, no overlay, half-size, detecting best sound input. I'm trying to minimize file size since I want these videos to load and play quickly over the 'net. (I figure nobody will really care too much about the half-size screen stretched out.)

Thanks, I wasn't referring to FRAPS when I said I had problems with syncing; I was talking about alternatives. I didn't know FRAPS could be used for anything w/o 3D graphics.
