After the latest update im unable to load up any of my saves. Anyone else experiencing the issue?

Are your saves gone or how does the issue look like exactly?

Oh they are there but just wont load. Throws an exception. The work around I found working was to revert 2 patches down and load an older save. But god thats quite a bit of gaming time :/ so annoying

Same issue here. Unplayable therefore. Please fix. I'm on a M1 Mac by the way and have submitted a report.

Somewhat about killing companion might cause it in some cases.

A hotfix has been provided about an hour ago via GOG Galaxy. Offline Installer patch is pending.

It is a different issue I think. Gets to like 6% and comes up with an exception error and goes back to main menu. No save will load. I have not killed any companion anyway. Yet?

I do not know enough about your situation so I assumed it might differ from toudi's. There is also a workaround to fix something which might have been caused by the patch. By making a backup of your save files and then deinstall and reinstall the game fully again.

But I am not experienced enough with Mac to tell what might affect the architecture to be sure. Have you tried that?

Well it is frustrating as I want to play the game, lol. But i wont tinker with reinstalling it or reverting to an earlier patch, well not yet anyway. A save two patches back is too old if that does work. I think ill wait till the inevitable next patch. Its been a buggy experience on M1 with lots of issues and reloading but until this 9mb patch i was at least able to play the game!

It's a shame really its so buggy as there is a really good game buried in there. I'm about 40 hours in I think.

That is what I was afraid of. That your problem and toudi's are different.

I have faith in Owlcat. Today I reached a part where I could not progress anymore. 10 minutes later a hotfix for that issue came and solved it.

Its actually the same problem. I bypassed it reverting to a previous patch. Whatever todays hotfix did broke the saves as well. At least on macs from what I can see.

Not sure why you posted that. Thats literally the patch that is causing the issue.
